My son's class project required a chart on benefits of tree. As per the tradition, I googled and checked on Pinterest to see what others might have done.
I loved a kid named Alyanna's drawing for a contest (http://www.fire.ca.gov/communications/downloads/ArborWeek_2014/AlyannaAlmario_lrg.jpg) on the subject. Simple and informative at the same time.
I also found another link (http://www.giftofcuriosity.com/printables/download-tree-templates/trees-collage/) which provided me the framework. This link is not working any more.
While implementing my idea, I had two choices - paint or paste i.e. collage. I chose the latter mainly because it is less time-consuming.
Material:
Chart paper, old magazines, colored paper, color pens.
Benefits mentioned are: Clean air, temperature control, habitat for animals & birds, (paper, wood, medicines), protection from floods, shade, fruits & flowers, pollution control.
And here is the result.
